Bio:
Robin Riskin is a cultural strategist, publicist, and writer born in New York City and based in Accra, Ghana. She has directed art festivals, exhibitions, and panels in Ghana and the U.S, and worked in public relations, project management, and editorial for international art initiatives, including Addis Foto Fest, Frieze New York, Accra [dot] Alt, and SAVVY Journal. Along with her work for Invisible Borders, Robin co-founded and directs Nima Muhinmanchi Art, an organisation of artists in Accra, Ghana dedicated to creating an environment where art is valued and made accessible to everyone. In her work, Robin aims to create platforms for urban interventions that engage communities, are accessible to publics, and are not limited to traditional exhibition spaces.
