Bio:
I love photography because it is able to capture emotions; emotions that even the photographer and the subject may not be aware are present. This why I decided to put software development on hiatus and pursue the storytelling art of photography. When I was a little boy (between the ages of 6 and 8), I was convinced that my dad disliked me. I thought I was too stubborn and naughty for his liking. It was a terrible feeling to have but one day I found an old photo. It was a photo of my dad carrying me on his shoulder; he had his eyes closed while holding me tightly to his chest. My dad loved me. There are plenty pictures of me, my sisters and mum taken by my dad which I now cherish very much. A few years ago dad passed on and I wished I had pictures of him in the ‘last’ days with us. Taking photos is now a very personal endeavour for me. I get to capture the love between a couple, the pride in a father’s eyes at his daughter’s wedding, the tears of joy of a mother as her son says his marriage vow etc. I am the great great grandson of a fisher man from La and I can recite nearly all the lines in The Lion King. I love Chelsea FC in the English Premier League. I live in Accra with my lovely wife and beautiful daughter.
